Jamie leads Hanrick Curran’s Tax Consulting Division and has been providing taxation advice to a diverse range of clients in the Brisbane and Sydney marketplace, from family businesses to listed corporates, since 1995. Jamie’s background includes Senior Managerial roles within a Big 4 accounting firm which has allowed him to develop his expertise in taxation for both Australian and international clients.
Jamie regularly presents at seminars on taxation topics for various professional bodies including the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAA) in Australia and the Taxation Institute of Australia. He also provides tax training to a number of accounting firms in conjunction with the ICAA.
Jamie works closely with Hanrick Curran’s clients to simplify taxation obligations and to create tax effective structures and solutions for businesses and their owners. Jamie also works closely with corporate and family groups to help achieve their asset protection, wealth creation and inter-generational goals. His years of experience combined with his presenting and training experience allows Jamie to take the complexity out of taxation to explain the issues to clients in a simple manner.
In addition to specialising in taxation consulting Jamie also provides general business advice and accounting services to clients in a variety of industries.
