Kim has over 30 years of accounting and business management experience and founded Hanrick Curran in 1984. He is on the executive team of the firm, contributing to its strategic direction, management and growth.
Prior to forming Hanrick Curran, Kim held numerous positions including tax accountant and auditor with two Global Accounting Firms and was a lecturer at QUT on management accounting.
Kim specialises in advising clients on all aspects of their financial business, arming them with knowledge and advice to make informed decisions to grow and improve their businesses.
Kim is highly regarded amongst the Queensland business community and has held a selection of official and honorary positions in commercial and not for profit organisations.

Kim enjoys extending his knowledge by attending both local and international business events, in particular the worldwide Alliott Group conferences. He embraces new technology and enjoys staying up to date with the latest technological efficiencies.
Kim has always enjoyed being a mentor to young professionals and is willing to help and advise those who have sought his counsel.
He is passionate about learning the local culture of countries he travels to, immersing himself in their history and exploring beyond the tourist tracks.
Kim is a family man, in his spare time he enjoys the company of his lovely wife Kate and their 6 adult children. He loves to entertain with good food, good wine and the easy listening tunes of Johnny Cash always included on the dinner party play list.
