Hanrick Curran is delighted to announce the appointment of Michael Wen.  Michael joins the firm’s international business division delivering tax and business advisory services to our growing multi-national client base.

Michael grew up in Shanghai and is proficient in Mandarin and Cantonese, along with other dialects. He holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting with Macquarie University and has over 11 years experience working with a variety of clients including wealthy resident and non-resident families and their related Australian investments.

Michael will work closely with International Tax Partner, Jamie Towers and will be supported our Asian business team which includes 9 bi-lingual staff members fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.

John Kotzur, Managing Partner of Hanrick Curran said, “The expertise and bi-lingual capabilities of our international business team places the firm in a strong position to support inbound investors and foreign residents into Australia. Our strength lies in our ability to clearly articulate Australian business laws and cultural differences, bridging the gap and overcoming challenges often experienced by multi-national clients.”

Michael's appointment builds on the firm's international following Sinjung Kwon, joining the partnership in October last year to expand our Korean business capability.
