Accelerate Growth Grant set to close
The Queensland Government recently announced its intention to close the popular Accelerate Growth Grants on 27 March 2018 and not accept any new applications. This grant, open to small businesses with less than 20 employees, provides access up to $10,000 match funded to engage business advisers to support business owners to grow, develop further skills and embrace new opportunities.
Business owners may continue to apply for the Accelerate Growth Grant under the original criteria up until 27 March 2018.
A replacement program, also announced today is called the Business Growth Fund Program and will be open for applications from 28 March 2018. The eligibility criteria for the new program is wider with it targeting assistance for small and medium businesses (less than 50 employees) that demonstrate high-growth and employment aspirations.
